Bio:

Lodewijk (pronounced “LOOD-VIK” is a halfling with a strong connection to nature. While this is not unusual for a halfling, Lodewijk’s connection is more primal than most. He is at home there, especially in forests and mountains, and prefers the wilderness to cities. He proudly wears a self-made lizard skin cap as proof of his connection with nature and his ability to survive. As with other halflings, he does not readily take to bluffing, cheating, thievery, or the intricacies of trade. Lodewijk is a typical halfling in terms of generally bemused tolerance of these silly Big People. Some of them, and their ideas, have a lot of meat to them, and a lone halfling in the world would do well to digest what he could.

Lodewijk’s memories are extremely limited. All he knows is that he was a slave, and that he’s much happier not being a slave anymore. He’s currently hanging around with Darian the human (psion?) and Stravos the half-elf (seeker?). This is partly because they’re among the few people he knows who haven’t tried to kill or control him. They’re also part of his earliest (but still recent) memories aboard the slave barge, and so far their immediate goals (survival!) have coincided. In particular, Lodewijk is impressed with Darian knowing his place in the world, and occasionally defers to him (although he thinks his halfling ideas are still better). Lodewijk appreciates Stravos’ connection to nature, and his proficiency with a crossbow could come in handy.
